I love this list. I especially like the Children’s Museum or the Zoo Year Pass. It’s like a gift that keeps on giving. They can have educational, fun experience for next year.

  • Sara Barrow Gilliam

I love non toy Christmas gifts, the past few years instead of toys at their Birthday Parties we have asked for books instead, we now have a nice library of books for them. I will be using some of these ideas for Christmas and Birthdays!!!

    • Thank you Sara for reading and taking a moment to do so. Books are the best! I ask for them and we have so many…time to donate a few! Take care & happy to hear you found some ideas.

  • Kim

We have too many toys. This list is so helpful!

    • I am so happy to hear you found a few ideas Kim. I am loving the cooking apron and the nail polish idea. A kid’s camping chair is fun too because they are so small, they can be indoors too!

  • Darlene Dee

I love this list! My parents always gift their grandchildren magazine subscriptions. From Highlights to Photography Today or whatever they get interested in as they grow. It’s such a nice idea, because they get mail all year long.

    • Thank you Darlene for taking a moment to comment. Yes, we are asking for Highlights this year! She loves checking the mail with us and will be so excited to get her own mail.

Highly recommended the ‘Hello’ magazines. Babystar received them since she was 6 months old and they hold up to drool and chewing even better than a board book!!

  • Angelica Arias

I was just talking to my husband about this yesterday. Both of our mothers have asked us what to get our daughter for Christmas and we both said no toys. She has way to many and her birthday is in January so she will end up getting even more in a month. Most of the items on your list is what we said. Books, zoo pass and winter clothes!

    • Those are great ideas! Yes lots of books and we are asking for a Highlights High Five subscriptions, which is a magazine for toddlers!

  • I always have trouble buying Christmas gifts for the kids. It seems like the ony options I have are clothes and toys.

Thanks to your list for some great gift ideas. <3

    • SO happy to hear you found a few new ideas! I am going to get some robes for my nephews and make growth charts for their rooms. Enjoy the holidays!
